If you have an American Express Corporate Card through your employer, you may be eligible for elevated welcome bonuses on several American Express personal cards. These offers include annual statement credits that aren’t available to the general public, so they’re worth a look if you’re a corporate cardholder.
To qualify, you must have a US American Express corporate card that’s open and not past due. However, corporate card members who are employees of PricewaterhouseCoopers International Limited, Corporate Meeting Card members, Corporate Purchasing Card members, Corporate Defined Expense Card members, and Business Extra Corporate Card members aren’t eligible.

Each of these cards already has an excellent public welcome offer, but these bonuses for corporate cardholders include statement credits not available with the regular offers, and in some cases, more points or cash back.
For example, the public (elevated) welcome offer on the Amex Platinum card is for 75,000 points after you spend at least $5,000 in your first 6 months of account opening, so the bonus on the corporate cardholder offer represents 10,000 more points (plus the statement credit). However, the corporate offer doesn’t include the 10x points at US supermarkets and US gas stations on up to $15,000 in combined spending in the first six months like the public offer does.
If you’re a corporate cardholder who applies for one of these personal card offers, it won’t affect your corporate account in any way (and your employer won’t even be aware). As long as your corporate account remains open and in good standing, you can continue to qualify for the annual statement credits on the personal card each card anniversary.
